About Me

👋🏾 hi there, I’m so glad you’re here!

One of the things I fully believe in is being kind and gracious to and with ourselves. I believe that even when life gets tough, we are still blooming and we are still growing. We may not always like our circumstances, we may not always like the things we discover about ourselves, but we can always choose to be self-compassionate. Be soft with you, be tender with you. I also believe in being curious, with ourselves and with others. I continuously learn that curiosity can open doors to depth, intimacy, and connection that judgement just can’t.

I help equip women and couples with the tools they need to improve their relationships, deepen their intimacy and connection, and strengthen their communication and conflict management skills through my work in the therapy room, speaking engagements, and other avenues outside of the therapy room.

While I have a range of experience, I specialise in working with women and couples who struggle with emotional management, aiding my clients in establishing healthy boundaries in their lives, and equipping them with the tools needed to communicate in a healthy way and effectively manage conflict. As a systemic therapist, I focus on your family of origin in an effort to give us both more context and understanding of your development as an individual, and of the ways in which you show up in and navigate your relationships. By doing this, we’re also able to aid you in identifying which habits and patterns serve you well and those that don’t.

Whether it’s inside or outside of the therapy room, I strive to create a safe, warm, & inviting environment. At Wings of Grace Counselling, I want you to feel seen, heard & as though your voice matters. I truly want the absolute best for my clients because I believe they are each deserving of the best. As your therapist, it’s important for you as my client to feel comfortable, and, I also want you to feel challenged through our work together. Therapy is successful when the process pushes you to spaces where you may feel uncomfortable, but you choose to lean into it because you know your healing matters and you know that you have a therapist who will support you through it, and being of support to each of my clients is what I strive to do, individuals and couples alike.

When you learn how to intentionally attune to yourself emotionally, everything else in your life benefits. Healthy connection & healthy relationships are so important, and through our work together my hope is that you experience more connection in your relationships, healing, and that your relationships become strengthened. Investing in your relationships matter, investing in yourself matters.

The work of paying compassionate attention is, in a sense, learning to steward for ourselves what God already believes about us—that we’re valuable and loved.
